How Would You Make Your Car Your Own?

A car is so much more than just a mode of transportation. It is a status symbol, a holistic representation of one’s wealth and sometimes, just a spur of the moment splurge to experience some high octane rush. When that happens to be the case, why wouldn’t you want to set your car apart from the hundreds of others that prowl the streets each day? There are a number of ways you can do this, but we will discuss car stickers, decals and generic signs now.

Bumper stickers and the like

A popular feature on many cars are bumper stickers. These stickers could comprise of popular sayings, random puns or even serve as a sneak peek into one’s expansive travels. A lot of curios stores and souvenir shops sell bumper stickers to those hoping to make a bold statement about the places they’ve visited.

However, customized bumper stickers could also be used to help the owner identify his vehicle. Sometimes, bumper stickers also call to attention one’s driving schools with an open invitation to call a particular number in case of rash or unruly driving.

Car decals

Decals are by far the best way to make a car truly your own. These adhesives are usually custom made and can range from a simple number to race car stripes and a checkered flag. They are usually flashy and best experienced in an over the top fashion. Decals are more permanent than your average bumper sticker and require the help of a professional to install them.

Decals also come in a variety of colors and price ranges, so there’s something for everyone. The only downside of a decal is that they don’t come off as easily as bumper stickers. Because they are infused onto the vehicle surface with heat, it takes more than peeling with your fingers to get it off. Also, certain prints extend to the underside of the carriage making it all the harder to get it off.

Mini road signs

Another adorable feature pervasive in many vehicles are mini road signs that actually have nothing to do with road signs. They are simply yellow and triangular or rhomboid in shape, hence reminding other drivers of road signs. These cute signs have simple things written on them like ‘Baby on Board’ or ‘Go Slow’ to indicate to other drivers to occupy a degree of caution while overtaking or speeding around said vehicle.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to customize your vehicle, consider one of these options. You can’t do much wrong with these tried and tested methods!
